16 ounce draft pour at the brewery.
Current version (drank 3/3/23) is 5.5% ABV
L: Very dark brown and clear, half inch head, foam is khaki in color and is moderately persistent.
S: Chocolate and roasted malt, hint of hops, some sweet cola aroma as it warms.
T: Malty, dark roast and some chocolate malt, semi-sweet, mild bitterness.
F: Enough carbonation to create a crisp bite in the middle, medium body, smooth and creamy.
O: Nothing fancy. Just a good, straight forward, seemingly traditional Oat Stout. Oats come across more in the feel than in the flavor.
