Dark brown appearance with a moderate khaki head, moderate retention, some lacing. Coconut, faint vanilla, sweet malt. Medium to light body, medium carbonation.

Draught pint at The Brass Tap here in Baltimore. Dark brown w/ruby highlights topped by a substantial dark tan head which settles leaving a broken ring and significant lacing. Faint sweet coconut nose. More coconut on the tongue with some malt. Feels like a stout. In fact overall seems more like a sweet (coconut) milk stout. At happy hour prices worth a try, but I won't be going this way again.

From tasting notes 11/15/19
Had on-tap at Gunniess Brewery in Baltimore, MD
Appearance - Served up in a tall pint tulip, black with cola brown edging. Island of suds in the middle of the glass and a thin ring around the edge. A few broken lines a small spitting for the lace.
Smell - Prominent sweet coconut aroma. Hints of chocolate.
Taste - Follows the nose. Prominent, fresh coconut milk sweetness with lesser chocolate. Not much else.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with light, bitey carbonation .Slick drinker before a smooth, mostly dry finish.
Overall - Guinness took the unusual approach of offering a sweet, fresh coconut juice flavor here vs the traditional toasted coconut notes you'd find in a coconut porter. Does it work? To an extent, but some toastiness would definitely help balance the sweetness presented here.
