Brewers Notes: A beer style built specifically for festivals. This German twist on a traditional Marzen uses a touch of honey malt sweetness to balance bitter notes from German noble hops.

From a pint can purchased at the brewery.
Another one of those Marzen biers (brewers notes) label as a Fest Bier. And a good one at that.
Light amber pour with high clarity and delicious caramel flavors from the toasted malt. Subtle bread and yeast notes.
Very nicely hoped, fairly well balanced bitterness, nicely carbonated.

Semi clear amber brown appearance, foamy head, good retention, thin lacing. Bread, yeast, caramel notes. Moderate body and carbonation. Mellow for its style, but refreshing.
