picked up at Big Head's in Missoula, MT
16oz can poured into a Sierra Nevada imperial pint
P pale gold w/ a slight chill haze; 1-2f white head
N bold aroma; bright and fruity; was hoping for a little more complexity here, but pleasant regardless
T follows nose - bold and bright, with lots of indiscernible fruity notes; light earthiness in the finish; crackery malt gives a nice backbone; tasty, clean, and easy-drinking
Mf full-bodied for style; med carb; satisfying
O while I wish the fruity notes were a little more easy to identify, this brew exceeded my expectations nonetheless; not usually a style I seek out, but I'm happy I tried it; would recommend
