Murky dark orange, lots of spotty lacing and lasting coverage.
Citrusy aroma, grapefruit and tangerine, some mild hop greenery.
Orange peel and pith, green hop bitterness, light pale malt aftertaste.
Medium bodied and dry with even carbonation. Pretty by the books.
Overall this is decent, no real flaws but nothing wildly unique either.
Not a big fan of the name of this beer & the brewery name, tearing down historical buildings is a rampant problem in Chicago, all in the name of “progress”. Plus the whole displacing of communities under the banner of “urban renewal” is a really odd choice to name a brewery after. So besides all that, this is a decent IPA.
