16 oz can, no best-by date, poured into a weizen glass.
A: Slightly hazy tangerine color with a small half-finger white head that quickly receded to a thin film. Steady stream of bubbles rising from the bottom.
S: Lots of banana and yeast with a slight wheaty twang.
T: Mostly follows, but the wheat is more pronounced and balances the sweeter esters.
F: Medium-light bodied, perhaps a little too thin. Well carbonated.

Served from the can in a mason jar.
The neighbors are shooting off fireworks. I have no idea why (the Fourth ain't for another week, dudes). Dammit. Anyway, this stuff pours a hazy amber-orange topped by a finger or so of lightly off-white foam. The nose hits the usual hef notes of orange zest, cracked wheat, mild banana peel, light clove, and a bit of grass. The taste brings in more of the same, the citrus balancing nicely with the yeast-y notes. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a feel that approaches creamy. Overall, a hef that leans hard toward standard, but when the standard is tasty and enjoyable, I'm not one to argue too loudly.
