On tap at Urban Brew Labs in Chicago, IL.
This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head and just a little bit of lacing.
This smells like honey, bready malt, and just a small hit of coffee.
This has an aftertaste that I always get with homebrewed beers – kind of, sort of like unfermented wort, maybe – it’s just a weird bready sweetness that doesn’t work. The coffee flavor is decent, but very basic.
This is light bodied, but not clean, with a decent enough drinkability.
Both of the beers I had from Urban Brew Labs had sort of an unfinished, basic homebrew sort of flavor, unfortunately
