10 oz in a mini stange type thing at the brewery.

Appearance: Somewhat hazy yellow/gold with a white head that dissipates quickly. White lace left behind as it disappears.

Aroma: Some tropical fruit, little bit of pine.

Taste: Little peach, tiny bit of mango. Fruity, somewhat tropical. Tasty. Not overpowering, but has flavor.

Mouthfeel: Very light. Might be just barely above too light. Could drink this in one gulp if you wanted.

Overall: Very nice low ABV IPA. Very good pair for pizza, and I speak from recent, pleasant experience.

Canned on 8./14/20

Poured into my tulip glass this beer is a light straw-gold color with a bubbly bright white head. Body is actually opaque. Head settles to a ring with soapy lace decorating the glass.

Scent is bright citrus and crackery malt

Flavor is a light cracker - biscuit malt with a nice lemony citrus hop note. Some tropical fruit. Clean crisp flavors. Nicely bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is crisp and clean.

Quite an achievement at 3.5% ABV.

A- Tallboy pours to a wine glass with a slightly hazy golden yellow hue and a fluffy one finger head. Fairly good retention and spotty lacing.

S- For only 3.5% the beer sops up hops and delivers a deep aroma of melon, mango, papaya and soft citrus fruits. Not as pungent as higher ABV IPAs but for this low alcohol its well done. Hints at light sweetness and crackery grain.

T- The taste buds don't drift at all from the nose and it once again riffs on sweet tropical fruits and a bit of citrus drummed up from the hops. Melon, bubble gum, papaya, mango and clementine. Medium sweetness and light breadiness.

MF- Its hard to get the pungent hop flavors in low ABV brews but many breweries really fall short on the mouthfeel of session beers. Definitively not the case here. Medium bodied with a solid frothy and fluffy texture and a high end carbonation. Light bitterness.

Solid dose of sweet tropical fruits and a fluffy body in a 3.5% hoppy brew. Can't go wrong giving this one a go.

From the 16 oz. can dated 09/28/18. Sampled on January 3, 2019.

The pour looks unfiltered and pale yellow with a quick lasting white fizzy head. Somewhat opaque.

The aroma is subdued but I pick up a nice citrus and tropical fruit sensation along with the toasted bread.

Light body.

The taste also brings out the sweet and citrus characters, which makes it a little more memorable. Overall it is clean, crisp, and easy to drink. Apparently what one wants with a Session IPA.

Canned 9/28/18, hopefully held up as I bought this like a week ago

Pours a nice fizzy foamy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med pace, nice messy lacing, slight hazy lemon golden yellow color

Nose nice hops, citrus, little tropical, mild floral, a bit on the lighter side but fair

Taste very little malt, hop water, mild citrus rind, zest, lemony orange with a little pith, a touch of stone fruit notes, and turning slightly floral, dry finish with flash of bitterness and more fruit lingering

Mouth is thin lighter bod, not bad for the abv though, decent fluffy carb

Overall not bad, good hop profile without going overboard, very little mouth or body to hold it up but stays in balance, enjoyable but not something I would drink regularly

This is the best "light" beer I've ever had. The 35 name is for the 3.5% alcohol but this beer tastes and drinks like a beer with 2x the ABV or more. Apricot and citrus in the nose, a mildly hazy yellow in the glass: taste is light and refreshing with huge depth of flavor. It even holds up for weeks stored properly. No other session comes close.
