Break is a double milk stout that we conditioned on hand selected local coffee beans. This beer is decadent and silky smooth with flavors and aromas of fudge, freshly ground hazelnuts, and a brisk fall afternoon.

16oz can.

Pours opaque black with a short-lived head of tan. Minimal retention or lacing. Espresso, chocolate, char, and vanilla in the nose. Full bodied with a creamy, velvety mouthfeel. Bakers chocolate with dark roast coffee on the palate. Finishes fairly dry with lingering chocolate and coffee.

Double Mikk Stout with coffee called Break and 7.2% ABV. Pours a beautiful near pitch black, with a nice 2 finger brown head that leaves thin streaks of lace before it slowly settles into a thin layer of bubbles. 4.5

Smell is just dominated by dry expresso beans, vanilla, and cocoa very one dimensional and it is insanely nice. 4.75

Taste follows just as nice a coffee flavor as you will even get, vanilla, and milk chocolate. 5

Mouthfeel is creamy and silky smooth above medium, gentle carbonation, a touch dry, and drinks bigger than its 7.2% ABV, but goes way to easy. 4.75

Overall this is another gem from this rather young brewery, Stouts and IPAs have been top notch. 4.75

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery.

A - Poured a nice dark black with a thin mocha head that hung forever before slowly fading.

S - Aromas of nice bright fresh coffee grounds. Little chocolate roasted malts. Cocoa powder and marshmallow.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with decent coffee, but it's acrid. Nice chocolate.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, creamy.

O - Overall this was a solid stout though on the acrid side.
