16oz can.
Pours opaque black with mahogany edgework and a thin, tan head. Retention and lacing are minimal. Kahlua, coconut, and nougat in the nose. Full bodied with a creamy, soft mouthfeel. Dark chocolate with espresso and coconut on the palate. Finishes rich and a bit sweet with lingering chocolate and coconut.

L - mostly black with a rich, tan, mocha head. Nice.
S - toasted shaved coconut. Does what it says on the tin. Light sweetness, maybe banana? Milk chocolate and coffee cream.
T - chocolate and coffee ice cream. Very smooth. Of course we've got the coconut, well-integrated within the rest of the beer, but not overpowering. Toasted vanilla, chocolate syrup, and caramel. Little bit of hop tingles on the finish.
F - lactose gives it a satisfying fullness, helped in part by moderate carbonation and a mid-heavy viscosity.
O - a lot of times, coconut is a novelty... a gimmick. It tends to overpower and even feel out of place, despite that being the primary focus. The coco nuts here are situated right in the middle, forming a tasteful foundation supporting sticky chocolate and cream flavors.

Coconut and cream come to life in a double milk stout that shows a bold candied impression but with great restraint not to over design the double milk stout of Definitive Brewing Company.
Very dark brown and with a noticeable haze for a stout, a dark appearance of chocolate milk chocolate precedes a cream laden scent of coffee, chocolate, nuttiness and kahlua spice. Sweet on the tongue, a taste of condensed milk, coffee, and caramel come to like in a coconut latte taste.
As the stout washes over the middle palate, its cream, coffee and caramel brings a softness to the tastebuds that balance the sharper edges of roasted grains for those strong impressions of cappuccino. Roll in a taste of milk chocolate and coconut and a creamy soft sweetness soothes the sweet tooth with ease.
Full bodied, creamy and with a milkshake consistency, the nearly chewy beer is more seductive with its lush texture as it is with its soft taste. Those spicy kahlua flavors rise as the aftertaste trends late and relaxed on the tongue in an after dinner dessert fashion.

Delicious beer. A little syrupy at first, but the toasted coconut really starts to bloom and linger (in a good way) in the finish. They were sold out of cans at the brewery, or I definitely would have taken some home.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a near pitch black color with a finger of tan head. The head leaves a beautiful crown of lacing before settling into a thin sheet.
The aroma brings notes of milk chocolate, vanilla and dark roast coffee with plenty of coconut on the back end.
The taste opens up with a ton of chocolate, followed by some roasted coffee, marshmallow and vanilla bean. Finishes with a fair bit of toasted coconut.
The feel is medium-full bodied with soft carbonation. Very soft and creamy, yet a touch oily.
Overall, a great milk stout that comes exactly as advertised. There's plenty of coconut flavor with tons of chocolate and coffee notes to balance things out. It's sweet, but never cloying.
