Pours ruby red grapefruit color, mostly cloudy with a one finger biscuit head. Aroma Is strong with berry and watermelon. Any whiff of IPA is lost. Flavor is also all fruit but with a heavy dose of lactose that seems to have a vanilla tinge to it. They are known for their vanilla sours so its odd that a lactose ale has this flavor. Feel is very soft and creamy.
This is a very good tasting beer with a great combination of fruits. It does not really resemble an IPA other than the mouthfeel so not sure how that works.
