A high-gravity Triple Dry Hopped Triple IPA checking in at a heady 11.0% ABV! While potent, this beer retains a super smooth mouthfeel, allowing the Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado hop profile to shine through. We taste flavors of spiced winter oranges and peach parfait!

Well, this is definitely a world-class triple dry hopped New England Triple IPA! Nice foam, honey and pine notes ;together with the hops and the hidden 11% ABV it's an extremely dangerous but pleasant brew.

Thank you SawDog505 for this can! Canned on 2-5-21.
A - Opaque dark golden orange color with dense white creamy lacing. This particular beer has the appearance of fruit juice.
S - Juicy tropical fruit on the nose: peach, mango, passion fruit. Overall aroma is moderate and juicy.
T - Overall is tropical juicy and abounds with flavor: Peach, mango, passion fruit, some earthy spiciness, and ends a subtle citrus bitterness to balance the sweetness. There's a little bit of detectable alcohol presence but that's to be expected with a beer of this magnitude, but it doesn't detract at all from the beer.
M - Thick, chewy and a little frothy with a dry finish.
O - This is a fantastic T-IPA and very well done. Definitely recommended.

16oz can dated 11/25/20.
Pours cloudy yellow with an inch-plus head of white. Retention is plentiful with some nice tattered lacework. Pineapple, peach, mango, and clementines in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft, smooth mouthfeel. Juicy tropicals on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Orange, peach, mango, and pineapple. Finishes with straight up fruit juice with zero booze and dry for the style.

A: Pours a cloudy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a decent cap that leaves good lacing
S: Huge tropical fruit up front along with some stone fruit and citrus. Light pine and earthy notes in there as well
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of tropical and stone fruit and then slowly picks up some citrus and pine. Moderate bitterness with some light booze. Finishes with lingering stone fruit
M: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Soft and lightly sticky
O: A great TIPA that does well with the triple dry hopping. The 11% is hidden extremely well, making this one super dangerous with a high drinkability. Definitely worth checking out

This is my second beer from Definitive, who impressed me greatly with their blueberry milkshake IPA I first had a couple weeks ago (Blueberry Vanilla Dome). When I saw a fresh-leaning can of this, their newest triple-dry-hopped triple IPA featuring Citra, El Dorado, Mosaic hops, on the shelf of a store I was perusing the selection of, I instinctively grabbed a single can. Hoping it's as good as my first brush with these guys was!
This pours a beautiful, opaque deep-orange hue with a massive head of lush, dense foam that almost appears like a cappuccino crema atop the gorgeously-colored liquid in my glass. Incredible lace and legs that are actually almost indistinguishable from one another... there's just zero separation between these aspects of the appearance, and I'm really just loving how this one looks overall. Of course, there's also a ton of surface coverage; veritable islands of suds built up atop the beer, with some small bubbles peeking out here and there. Great stuff!
The nose here has a lot going on, but I think what's surprising to me is just how immensely El Dorado-forward this seems to my senses! Tons of complex stone fruit ranging from apricot to nectarines and even a touch of lychee, along with a backing note of ripe mango flesh. I'm picking up a hint of the hefty alcohol, too, of course, but at 11% it would be almost miraculous to completely hide it, and I think it's still pretty heavily-obscured behind the intense hopping rates this no doubt utilizes. Some pine, light red berry, earthiness, and tangerine come out as this acclimates to room temperature. I have to say, this is a lot more unique than I thought it would be, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the hop profile comes across on the palate.
Damn, this is good stuff. Lots of strong guava, lychee, and pineapple flavors with hints of passion fruit and mango followed by blueberry and raspberry. As I sip, I seem to pick up some pine-y flavors in the finish, along with honeydew melon, apricot, and tangelo. Plenty happens here and it feels distinct from many of the sticky, overly-heavy triple IPAs I've had in the past with a unique flavor profile. It seems like they probably leaned into El Dorado kinda heavily with this one, and I appreciate that. Citra and Mosaic are a tried-and-true combo, but they can also be kind of boring when utilized the way they normally are. ED helps temper that and brings out some flavors I find to be under-represented in this style. Ethanol is very well-hidden here, even moreso than in the nose, and I really don't even notice it as I sip; dangerous as hell! Pillowy, soft feel with low-medium carbonation and a heavy-leaning body, which makes sense for the style. A very good triple IPA and a nice sipper for sure. I look forward to drinking more by these guys.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 11/26/2020. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a finger plus sticky white head that big tick webs of lace with retention. 4.75
Aroma ripe melon, mandarin, peach, guava, and apricot. Massive and nice. 4.5
Taste follows mandarin, guava, peach, honeydew, and apricot really big and maybe a touch sweet. 4.25
Mouthfeel is big, soft almost creamy carbonation, sticky not dry, and at 11% ABV the alcohol is well hidden. 4.75
Overall this is another winner from this rather young brewery from Portland Maine. I highly recommend if you enjoy a massive NETIPA this is right up your alley. 4.5
