Bursting with juicy character, this hazy New England IPA showcases a vibrant trio of hops—Simcoe, Citra, and El Dorado Lupomax. Expect an explosion of tropical fruit aromas with notes of ripe mango, pineapple, and stone fruit, balanced by hints of citrus zest and a subtle piney backbone.

Nice pillowy lasting white head. Tropical and mango hop aroma and flavor. Light resinous character. Good balance with light bitterness. Medium bodied and fairly creamy.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy goldenstraw with a massive head; strong retention and patchy lacing
Smell: Floral with pIneapple, mango and kiwi aromatics; hints of ruby red grapefruit
Taste: Pineapple and kiwi forward with mango and ruby red grapfruit emerging through the middle; the finish brings along a modest amount of pithy bitterness
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation; surprisingly light for the ABV
Overall: As the heat wave hits North Carolina, Definitive makes me want to travel to Maine for a more temperate summer brew

Thick with tropical fruity hop flavor's, sweet red fruits and a tangy citrus blend. Smooth AF, fresh feeling and slightly juicy finish. Golden earthy malted grains are in perfect balance with the bright fruity hop complexity. Too easy at 7.2% abv.

This beer is hopped with a blend of Simcoe, Citra, and El Dorado Lupomax which makes a difference in flavor. Aroma/taste of grape, stone fruit, and banana. Very smooth and no hoppy bitterness. Nice look: 4F head with a golden color in a Speigelau IPA glass. I have been enjoying the general direction, in the last few years for IPA brewers to brew a smooth, far less hoppy IPA style beer, Definitive follows suit.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass canned on 11/19/21. Pours a very hazy yellow, with a half finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace, with nice retention. 4.25
Aroma passionfruit, mandarin, lemon/lime, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.25
Taste follows passionfruit, mandarin, hint of lemon lime, apricot, and grapefruit. 4.25
Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle carbonation, maybe a tad dry, and at 7.2% big on flavor but still very easy going down. 4.25
Overall this is really nice, nothing mind blowing but still really good. I recommend for sure. 4.25

Perhaps enough competition has come on the scene that this just doesn't stand out. I was raving about this brewer a couple years ago, but this one is just good/avg.
