Collaboration with Heist Brewing
We were fortunate enough to have our good friends at Heist come up to Portland a few weeks ago for a brew day! Sight Glass Synergy is a forthright 8.6% DDH DIPA that displays a wide variety of flavors thanks to the dry hop additions of HBC 1019, Citra, and Mosaic Cryo. This beer tastes like Fujian lychees, fresh berry smoothies, and soft resinous undertones.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass canned 1/21/22. Pours light hazy orange with a two finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace all over the sides of the glass. 4.5
Aroma mango, papaya, orange, apricot, and a little grapefruit rind. 4.25
Taste follows mango, papaya, orange, apricot, and little grapefruit bitterness but well balanced. 4.25
Mouthfeel is bigger than average for sure, maybe a whisker dry, soft carbonation, and at 8.6% very easy going down. 4.25
Overall always a fan of Definitive Brewing Company and this is pretty darn tasty. I highly recommend! 4.25
