How did I find this obscure Italian ale from just south of Bologna?
The improbable story becomes more improbable: I bought this bottle because someone at Brouerij de Kromme Haring in Utrecht thought it was good enough to be a guest ale at their taproom. Also what were the chances that this Brouerij would make a great margherita pizza? And that I'd enjoy both outside on a beautiful pre-spring late afternoon in which everyone was acting like it was spring ? What a pairing made in heaven !
Like everything that day, Tevla Looked pretty good. Smells however were only slightly above average; needs more variety of fruit than just lemon. Tastes were balanced, the tart was present but modest and reasonably well-controlled. Mostly sweet with a dry finish. Medium-mouthed. Soft from the wheat.
As for the very good Overall Hugs, that for Cantatina del Brado. I like that they specialised in mixed fermentation, but don't think it's the only thing beer should be. Their website also has an English Page that explains their brewing principles and why they experiment with mixed fermentation. Salute !

It is a table beer with wheat.
Blonde beer with a good foam even if is not so particullarly fine.
This can is not so perfect, but I drank It some times before and was better, with a light malt that open the door to the hop.
Even in the mouth hop and malt, fresh and fruity that need a second sip for sure.
The rating is for the beer drank some time ago, because this have some problems (It is close to the date).
