So here it is: we took a small amount of our Christmas Ale (remember the one with green and red grapes?) and funked it up! What? How? Why? We took an entire barrel (7 years aged!) French-oak-cabernet-soaked sour beer and blended it in! That’s how. Our partial sour is delicious. There’s so many weird and wonderful things going on in here! Sit back, sip it and marvel at the Doctor.

Picked up a growler last week and poured it into a pint glass.
Dr. Fowler's Funk pours a rich bronze color with tight off white head that fades and leaves a nice lacing on the glass. There is a mild white grape aroma with mild cider vinegar. The taste is mildly tart with hints of pear and apple. It finishes with hints of cinnamon and spice and a mild bitterness. The mouthfeel is light and crisp despite the low level of fine carbonation. The carbonation that is present is very fine. Overall, this beer is decent. Not great, but not bad. There's nothing offensive, but nothing really bold or overly different.
