16oz. Can served in a Nordic Cooler. Pours a pale, straw gold with a fizzy, 1/8th inch, off-white head with a slight chill haze to the clarity. Nose is light and clean - traces of grass and cereal malts. Taste consistent with nose, with the addition of some earthy hops. Flavor profile is not what I would consider akin to a Kolsch. Mouthfeel is light in body with an assertive carbonation. Overall, not really style consistent; however, drinkable on a warm day and probably would pair well with burgers or BBQ.

Bottled end of April 2016.
Pours a decent fizzy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med pace, little bit of lacing, quite hazy almost neon straw yellow color.
Nose some soft toasted lager malts, little straw and bread dough, lots of cracker and grain, little husky, some minerals, then mild grassy earthy spicy hop notes.
Taste starts light and crisp, soft lager malts, toasted grainy and earthy whole grain bread, toasted straw pilsner malt like notes, a little chewy malt, a touch of minerality, fair bitterness with some mild spicy earthy and grassy hop notes, not too bad. Finish is pretty bitter, way too much for a kolsch, dry but not too crisp, lingering bitter spicy hop notes, little grainy toasted malt.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, decent carb.
Overall eh, not too bad for a nice summer beer, but not very good as a koslch, missed too many marks as typical Buzzards Bay style, not quite the style they set out for, but not a bad beer in general.
