On-tap 5/3/2017 at Pour Farm Tavern in New Bedford, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a bright coppery red color, with a large off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a very thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains maple, citrus, caramelized malts and grassy hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of maple, caramel and citrus. Then a strong grassy hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid 2IPA to drink for a while.
