Part of the Limited Series. Described to me by the lady filling my growler as having the same malt and hop bill bill as the BB pale ale but fermented with the lager yeast.
Poured an absolutely clear brown. Quite a few lazy carbonation bubbles making their way to the top of the glass throughout the beer. Thick foamy head. Nose is loaded full of biscuits and just a faint trace of hops.
Flavor is interesting. At first it has the malty flavor and texture of an ale but that quickly finsihes light and dry like a lager. Also, the citrus hops are present and out of character for a lager but more like an ale. Light mouthfeel with a bit of a dry finish. Interesting and strange but quite nice to drink. I have a hunch this beer may appeal to the masses or be a good transition to craft beer. It has the lightness of a macro lager but the flavor of a craft ale. A good way to teach the masses.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
