First off Buzzards Bay did release the Mai Bock in bottles one summer (2007 maybe). This is a new version and if you go to the website and compare the 2 they do not use the same hops or malt. This is the spring seasonal beer of 2009,and was just released on draft.

appearance - Poured a light clear yellow color. and held a small white head and carbonation is present.
smells - Smells of grains and hops here. Reminds me of a macro lager a little.
taste - Hits the tongue like a lager but then the bitterness of the hops roll through and top it off with some alcohol.
mouthfeel - On the light side.
drinkability - Nice drinking beer , nice balance of malt and hops here, not too bitter but just right. Worth a try.
