12 oz brown bottle.

Bubbly off white head that leads to lots of lacing which holds well. A crisp amber in color; very clean looking.

Moderate malt sweetness. Very little to none hop aroma. A faint biscuit smell as well.

Initial malt sweetness that quickly gives way to a bold biscuit flavor that encompasses the palate. No hop like qualities typical of an American Pale. A darker, heavier type of bitterness in the finish.

Full bodied (very malty) for the style. A little too unevenly balanced on the malt side of things.

Pretty drinkable but too sweet to drink all night.

I'm disappointed that it's not as balanced as I would expect from an APA. Tone down the malt or add more hops.

Poured an amber in color with sporadic lacing.Very different aroma that was hard to decipher.Had a caramel and slightly toasted malt aroma.A soft lingering bitterness about the mouthfeel.Very complex aroma and taste that was quite refreshing and drinkable.Well-balanced session beer.Very unique and different.I would certainly buy this again. The only thing I would change is the name.Get rid of the "beer" term and tell it like it is.

Hmmm. What is this? Too many bizarre fruit flavors for my tastes. Something about this brew tastes fake, like cotton candy or wax lips.

Nice appearance, golden amber with a large-bubbled head. Only slight lacing. Very fizzy.

Carbonation splashes the tongue and releases the bouquet. Lots of flavor, but almost sickening in the sweetness. No thanks, I'll have an Olde Buzzard Pale Ale instead, please.

Presentation: 12oz brown twist, with a bottling # yet no freshness date. “For sale in MA only” on the back label … sorry out-of-staters.

Appearance: Bright pale amber for colour. Fluffy white head dissipates into a well retaining lace to form several rings down the glass.

Smell: Hops are soft with a light herbal aroma and peppery suggestions. Sweet steeped nutty grain and candy like malt nose to follow.

Taste: Medium bodied, semi crisp malty palate that dons a sweet nutty flavour, hops hit light and quick with a lingering herbal hop bitterness and flavour. A little sweetness is also from the oil hop flavour though does not last too long and brings a dry leafy taste behind it that nearly puckers the mouth.

Notes: Yet an other more than decent brew to come from Buzzard Bay, flavour and aroma are very well put together. This will be a frequent brew in my fridge that is for sure.

Full golden color, head dissipates, some foam lingers. A tart, refreshing beer. I would have mistaken it for a lager or perhaps a kolsch. Very nice malt character, bread & butter, which is actually almost obscured by the hops. As it warms, the malts crawl out. Fizzy, with a thin mouthfeel, but retains a stickiness that is very nice. I'd say this beer is a little off balance, but still quite pleasurable. If it was a little bit more mellow, it would be a real winner.

Clear golden, small white head doesn't last. Sweet biscuity malt, hints of soft herbaly hops. Crisp start, light bodied, quick finish. Well balanced but not at all complex.
