Pliable Foe, a brand new beer that we think every coffee drinker on the planet will enjoy. Pliable Foe starts as a proper English-style Dark Mild that we then age on insane amounts of Sulawesi Kalossi coffee, a very special type of coffee grown on the side of a Volcano in Indonesia. Pliable Foe is exploding with aromas of freshly ground coffee beans & cold-brew coffee. The flavor is a bit more complex with a beautifully balanced malty caramel backbone that provides a wonderful base for the huge coffee flavor & aromatics. Don't let anyone tell you that beer isn't for breakfast.

On draught at the brewery. A dark brown pour, a thin soapy head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing.
Strong roasted coffee flavor, enjoyable bitterness. Light and watery mouthfeel.

L: Pours a muddy brown color with a foamy white head that dissipates somewhat quickly and leaves no lacing on the glass.
S: Rich earthy coffee is at the forefront may e a little light malt but coffee is by far the strongest element.
T: Rich earthy coffee, some malt but the coffee is by far the strongest element of this beer.
F: Light to medium body, low carbonation.
O: Nice beer but I think it would be better if the coffee was toned down a bit to let the rest of the beer shine.

Moderately dark yet clear brown body; good carbonation; thin head, bordering on wispy. Weak coffee aroma predominates; light bit of roasted grain underneath. Weak coffee taste upfront; light, watery malt sweetness; coffee bitterness. Light body; gentle sweetness; touch of dryness.
This is an okay beer, drinkable yet ultimately unremarkable. Coffee highlights nearly everything, so if you're big on coffee beers, this is one to try.
Pouring temperature: 47 °F; canning data: nothing noted

This is a tasty beer with a ton of coffee flavor along with dark roasted malt yet with a fairly light body. That said...I'm not sure that a dark mild is the right style for adding a ton of coffee. It's a delicate style, and this beer is not delicate at all.

Poured from the can into a nonic pint glass.
Faint khaki rich cascading head, almost a deep yellow in color, with three fingers height and big swiss cheese bubbled appearances. Big dark walnut color , has a great woody looking walnut to mahogany brown color. Even slightly hints red as well. Neat looking beer.
Excellent coffee aroma with some neat fruity estery quality. Piping warmth with a spicy bean accenting cinnamon and dark espresso. Flirts with a bit of nutty qualities too.
Palate is a nicely rich and light washing of flavors. Light classic mild body with a lot of flavor. Rich almost creamy flavored coffee, mixing nut and spices in the front palate. Aftertaste is hinting milky chocolate with some light nut and big grinding roasted beans. Char and ash light with mixes of almost fire place warmth as well.
Great tasting coffee mild.

Very coffee forward but no body and very watery. No bitterness from coffee which is nice. Just ok.
