This American IPA is listed as retired, but they must have called it out from retirement. Poured from a can, it begins with a creamy froth that dissipated into a cloudy amber body. Subtle citrus nose. There is a semi-sweet grassy taste with a crisp body and a very mild hoppiness that consists of Citra, El Dorado and our old pal Simcoe. Nice mouthfeel and an easy finish makes Call Of The Void a pleasant sipping beer. Elder Pine does not try to impress; they just make some decent beers worth rtying.
