The concept for this beer started nearly a year ago when we made over 100 gallons of cold brew coffee specifically to be aged in bourbon barrels. 10 months later we blended a portion of the barrel-aged cold brew coffee into an Imperial Stout brewed with maple syrup, chocolate, vanilla, and freshly roasted coffee beans.

The result is the biggest beer we've ever produced with layer upon layer of complex flavors & aromas. Each individual component compliments each other and the base beer in a way we couldn't have imagined. This beer is unreal and we can't wait to share it with you!

Very unusual stout... concerned because of all the different flavors but balanced to the point of becoming null. Great mouthfeel and notes of coffee as it opens up

No vanilla to speak of (a plus), the maple comes out a little but mostly in a slight stickiness on the lips.

Overall, an excellent full bodied stout
