Murky and bubbly golden body with a finger of white foam. Decent lemon with grains, stale white bread, hay, and grassy hops in the nose. Taste starts with the rustic/stale bread and grains, light hay, but then elevates with a big lemon flair, light white grape, white pepper and finished by soft grass. Feel is thinner and light, with hops and carbonation shaping the most, but elevated with a sense of purpose. Hoppier pils but it works all together as a nontraditional offering

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of gooseberries and lemon are present in the nose along with hints of peppery spices.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of white wine. The peppery spices are mostly only noticeable in the finish. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, clean and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a well-hopped lager and has the hop aromas and flavors that you would expect from an IPA.
