Hops: Simcoe, Columbus
Grist: Red X, Pilsen, Golden Oats, Biscuit Rye
Brewer's notes: Piney, floral, citrusy, and mildly malty. Very similar to classic IPAS from 10+ years ago. Brewed in collaboration with August Burns Red for the 10 Year Anniversary, re-recording and livestream of their album 'Leveler’

Can at brewery:
Nearing the brown side of amber, the auburn tinge shifts depending on lighting, but a red hue isn’t too evasive. Head is nicely retentive.
Nose isn’t being very open or forthcoming. There’s a hint of fruitiness and a general feel of autumn leaves on damp earth. Attempting to find more, I get sort of a blueberry tea impression.
Brown bread supports citrus tea flavors. The beer isn’t very bitter, but definitely ends on that side of balanced. The opening isn’t too malty, the finish not too bitter, but there is that slight shift from one to the other.
A nice, balanced beer that dips two twos on the malt side before shifting them to the bitter edge.
