Pours a large, three finger plus head, bright and immaculate white, very whipped up and airy so retention is poor, any attempt at forming lacing slides right down the glass. Vivid yellow liquid with a translucent haze to it, easy to see the carbonation inside the glass. The nose dominated by lemon zest, raw grains and saline, not finding it particularly fruity, some peach, passion fruit, pear, offers more by way of cut lawn grass than dewy dankness. Light bodied and dry, the carbonation adds plenty of prickle and churn. Pleasing if understated floral perfume develops in the mouth. Grainy with peppercorns added to the savory mineral water edge, The citrus element takes a step back. Deserves points for integration and clarity of message. But I am finding it has the severity of a hopped up IPA without the charms of a Pale Ale. So, in the end, didn't especially enjoy it. (Canned 7/15/21)
