Spelt malt & flaked wheat provide a creamy body while El Dorado & Mosaic hops bring forth prominent notes of mango, tropical fruit and ripe berries.

Two plus fingers of clean white foam, average density and retention, a few larger surface craters, irregular lacing. The basic yellow liquid is opaque but has a brightness to it. Lively nose, packed with tangerine-led citrus zest and pine, pronounced maltiness as well, the fruit mainly peach, mango, nectarine, quick burst of pepperiness before it dissolves away, fairly free of dankness. Medium-bodied, the mouth feel is dry yet creamy, expands easily across the palate. Equally dominated by citrus here too, the tangerine, naval orange joined by notes of lime. Sweet tea leaf, pine, white pepper, quinine all blended in. Clean, minimal dankness or herbaceousness here too. Fruits lean tropical without sour bite. Fresh finish, nothing even close to alcoholic burn. In the DIPA category this gets kudos for sessionability. (Canned 7/30/21)

Cloudy, vibrant orange with a large, airy, antique white head. Solid retention and soapy lacing.
Strong orange and pepper in the nose.
Sweet orange up front in the taste, with lots of herbal pepper behind. The backend alternates from sip to sip between candied orange and earthy, tea-like bitterness.
Medium bodied and creamy with tight carbonation fizz.
Nice mix of orange and pepper. I don’t always love El Dorado, but it’s used well here.
