Hazy white-gold with a significant head on a fairly aggressive pour. The latter has decent staying power and there is some spotty lacing.
Nose and taste both have a Oilsner malt bread aspect to them. There’s a light lemon citrus note in the nose I don’t really get in the taste. Beer is fairly dry and has soft edges.
The ending is the conundrum; it starts as a neutral, balanced bitterness which doesn’t seem to change the bread and grain opening. As I sip, there’s a little bit of grass that comes to me, but also a hint of dirt. Nothing is off-putting, but I was hoping for something a little more distinct.
