The second iteration of our Continuous Refinement series has arrived! Continuous Refinement is a rotating IPA that allows us to research & develop new recipes and techniques while utilizing new ingredients or brewing processes.
Continuous Refinement #2 is a West Coast IPA brewed with three brand new hop varieties from the Pacific Northwest: Helios, Vista and McKenzie. Helios is a high-alpha hop bred by Hopsteiner in Yakima, Washington for intense resinous qualities. Vista is an aroma hop bred by the USDA Public Breeding Program for intense melon, tropical & stone fruit characteristics. McKenzie is the first proprietary hop bred by West Coast Hop Breeding Company that was specifically bred for the terrior of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. McKenzie is very aromatic and full of pungent citrus & stone fruit character.
Continuous Refinement #2 is a very modern IPA with the backbone of a classic West Coast IPA: dry, bitter and aromatic.
