Irish-style Red Lager. All of the biscuity, caramely & toasty qualities of an Irish Red Ale, but fermented with our house lager yeast and cold conditioned for months to provide a much crisper, cleaner beer where the malt is the main focus without any of the fruity ale yeast esters.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark, clear amber pour, thin coating of creamy off-white foam. Malty aroma, dark bread, caramel. Taste doesn't deviate, sticking with nice toasty malts, mild sweetness and a touch of bitterness.

Murky brownish red with a beige head. Smell strongly of toasty malt with toasted caramel, slight orange slice, earthy accents, and a touch of roast. Taste is very similar, but slightly sweeter, the toast, toasted caramel, and malt lead wonderfully. Feel is lighter and has a little bit more of a hop kick on the finish, but I wouldn’t call it hoppy, toasty malt rounds out.

Attractive appearance, showing off a clear bronze body with a medium size beige head and good lacing. Earthy aroma with a firm floral footing and just a whiff of caramel. The malt driven flavor has a woodsy, dark bread like quality that avoids excessive bitterness or fruitiness. Pleasant lingering finish.

From a pint can purchased at the brewery.
Update: On draught at the brewery.
A copper/amber pour with a thick head, and little lacing.
The toasted malt profile and nose is flavorful, hints of caramel, a little leathery, grainy, biscuit.
Nicely hopped, well balanced.
A very tasty Irish Red
