At the brewery, I want to give this one higher marks for effort, because it is distinctive and has legitimate potential...but doesn’t quite all come together. Slightly hazed (for the style) in the pour, without an impressive head or retention). Nose is a lot of good kind-of-wet Pilsner malty breadiness. Hops are mainly grassy in a good German way, with a faint lemon edge. Taste follows, with good malty notes, and also some nice lager yeast funkiness...though I wish I could switch out the fruit for a little more savory earthy pepper or something like that. A little heavy and chewy for the style.

L: brilliant gold permeated by streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 1" white cap with good persistence
S: An initial big cracker and white flour aroma blows off revealing a spicy noble hop aroma with some herb and earthinesss.
T: The beer has a mild, grainy sweetness seasoned with spicy hops and a crackery malt base. It dries out with a medium balancing bitterness leading to a crisp, clean finish
F: medium light body and medium carbonation
O: a flavorful beer you want to repeat

Pours a clear yellow color.Smell was lemon zest, bread and some malts. Taste was bland not alot of hops or crispness, finishing malts not present. Tasted more like a blond ale.
