Named for The Jungle Book’s boisterous orangutan, the King of the Apes who lives a lavish life in the ancient ruins of India. This one was brewed to be on the sweeter side, fermented with banana puree, and conditioned on vanilla.

From a 16 oz can. Canned on 1-3-24
This beer looks somewhat orange while pouring, though has more of a yellow hue in the glass. Very murky looking, and you can't see through it. There's a thick and frothy slightly off white head - 3 finger - that dissipates slowly. There's a bit of lacing on the glass.
I was getting a lot of banana aroma while pouring the beer. Up close I get the banana, and I get a lot of lactose and I also get a graham cracker aroma. It smells like a banana cream pie.
It also tastes like a banana cream pie. Lots of smooth banana flavor. Lactose and graham cracker back it up. There's also just a very faint hint of the hops that adds an interesting contrast to the sweet of the other flavors.
Smooth, and creamy. Maybe not as full as I'd expect from the name, but decent.
This beer does live up to its name - it is a banana cream pie in a can. Delicious.
