Had $Texas at the Turning Point taproom, Bedford, Texas, on draft into stemless wine glass.

Pours bright orange-juice gold, with 1-finger off-white head, with good retention, leaving nice rings of lace down the glass. Sharp citrus and malt aromas off pour, turning sweeter and juicier as warms. Begins smooth and creamy, then sharp biting citrus, over dry malt, which together carry into a crisp, moderately bitter finish.

Excellent crisp, malty almost NEIPA bodes well for the future of beer in the heart of Texas.

16oz can from Tavour. Orange pour, thin skin of head. Aroma is tropical and stone fruit. Sweet, fruity taste, dry, more tropical and stone fruit flavors. No sign of the ABV. Smooth, light, lingering bitterness

Cloudy/hazy bright yellow with a finger of cream foam. Aromas of grapefruit, lime, lemon and piney peach. Taste adds subtle passion fruit and pineapple, but otherwise as it smells, hops are more floral than piney, but has both aspects. Bright matrix for all of these fruits, hops cut in decently near the finish, very drinkable. All around good dipa

A high ABV Hazy IPA. More hops than citrus. Effervescent aftertaste but still pleasant. I will be drinking this one again.

Pours a very cloudy yellow gold color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is decent. Nice citrus and floral aroma. Somewhat juicy. Mild, mild piney hops. Taste is close to the same with a little more grapefruit on the end and decent bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

What do ya' know? It's hazy! Very hazy and pale orange in color. Has an extensive off-white head.

Orange zest and lactose to the nose.

Lots of orange on the tongue but not overly tangy either. Zest, passion fruit and faint grapefruit in the finish.

Hazy IPAs are a dime a dozen, but a few set themselves apart, and this is one of them.

A subtle beer! Had it from draft at the brewery.

A wonderful silky smooth feel. Cloudy orangish yellow with good head and lacing. Fresh and floral smell and taste. Pleasant citrus as well., orange, grapefruit and a bit of peach. Not too bitter - a comforting beer!

A cloudy, hazy NEIPA looking beer that has a orange pineapple juicy aroma with slight hint of hops and sweetness. The taste is juicy pineapple grapefruit, a hint of lemon/orange?? Bitterness is high but smooth enough. The alcohol is well hidden and overall it’s a fair brew. On draft at Turning Point Brewing.//REVISITING "$TEXAS"/05July2020/16 ounce cans. A good juicy style DIPA.
