Appearance: Slightly cloudy, amber. Fluffy off-white head with good retention.

Aroma: Toasted malt, spicy hops.

Flavor: Toasted and caramel malt, spicy hops. Semi-sweet. Restrained bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, low carbonation. Short clean finish. Dry at the end.

Overall: Enjoyed it. Very drinkable, not heavy or too bitter. Doesn't have quite the depth of complexity as some but that also allowed room for drinkability. Would be easy to sit and drink a couple of pints of this without feeling full. For a 6%+ ABV beer, strength was well hidden. Yes, would recommend and would drink again.

Dark amber body; moderate, slow-rising carbonation; big, billowy head, soft and sculpted. Nice toasted grain aroma, slightly sweet; light caramel; faint esters. Mild caramel taste with a moderate hop bitterness. Medium body; fair residual sugar presence; a bit sweet, a bit dry in the mouthfeel.

The looks are quite stunning for the beer. The rest of its qualities a quite good if not spectacular.

Poured at 44 °F; no canning date noted on the can.

Clear amber body with a tan head with moderate lacing. Malt laden aromas with caramel, toast and hints of metal in the nose. Taste is focused on malt, soggy bread, toast, and light caramel candy, fortunately the metal is gone. Feel is smooth, medium bodied, with muted crispness and slight froth.

Pours a beautiful clear, dark amber with a thick, dense, sandy-colored head that leaves thick, webbed lacing. Sweet, malty aroma. Toast, nut, and a light metallic element in the taste. Very creamy feel. A competent, drinkable Märzen with an unusual mouthfeel. The metallic note prevents it from being killer to my taste, but it’s otherwise quite tasty.

A copper colored Marzen with little or no head that smells mostly of light malt. Light carbonation and an easy drinker. Taste is very good. Mouthfeel is excellent. Overall a wonderful Marzen/Oktoberfest worthy of sharing.
