Very dark appearance with nice tan head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is a slightly sweet nice blend chocolate vanilla and hazelnut. Taste matches aroma. A little thin.

The combination of vanilla beans, hazelnuts and cacao nibs blends flavors and aromas of neapolitan ice cream. Tons of chocolate covered strawberries, vanilla ice cream and a perfect, dark chocolate finish. At 15.6%, it’s amazingly well balanced and avoids the cloying sweetness that’s so common with beers at this ABV. Also loving the obscure Christmas Story reference. I’ll definitely be seeking out their stouts on a regular basis. Well done.
