Golden straw colored & clear with some fizzy, short-lived head. Not very lively in the glass. Aroma is somewhat overpowering, with indistinct sourness the leading note. Taste has hints of coconut. Feel is fairly flat.

Received from @r0rschach post NBS BIF 10 – Thanks John! Reviewed 2/18/20.
Undated 16 oz can. Stored at home at 42 degrees and served at 45 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 3.
First pour – Light yellow, slight haze.
Body – Yellow, hazy and opaque. When held to direct light, bright yellow but still opaque.
Head – Large (Maximum five cm, aggressive center pour), off-white, low density and fizzy, completely gone in a few seconds, leaving neither crown nor cap.
Lacing – None.
Aroma – 3 – Weakly fruity. A few moments after swallowing, some pineapple can be detected on the exhale.
Flavor – 4 – Distinct pineapple and coconut – peach and apricot are too weak for me to taste. Begins with a very slight bitterness. No alcohol (11 % ABV as marked on the label) flavor or aroma. No diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, watery, soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 (Minus 0.25 point for an undated can). Unremarkable appearance and aroma. The flavor accentuates the pineapple and coconut better than any pineapple-based beer I’ve ever consumed – it’s a delight to drink. However, the alcohol content is 4-5 times the expected level in a Berliner-weisse, making a quaffing style into a hepatic attack system.
