Served in a 9 oz tulip, on draught at Eureka! Austin Texas.
Look: mahogany-straw color. While the head quickly faded, observed durable lacing on the glass.
Smell: pineapple and citrus with sweet vegetal and green apple. Did not observe diacetyl.
Taste: were it not for the pineapple, this would be a cloyingly sweet beer. Still, paid with the nose, it made sense.
Mouthfeel: outstanding. Chewy and coated the tongue. Could have used some effervescence to help lighten the sweetness.
Overall: As it warmed up, it became somewhat of a chore to finish. Think pineapple juice mixed with simple syrup and vodka. This is a well-executed beer overall, but maybe not my style. Would have preferred something with more distinct L-20 malt instead of cidery-sweet.

Our localWorld of Beer has blessed us with good relations with Turning Point, so I can get their stuff without driving to the DFW area.
This is a very interesting beer. It is an excellent imperial NEIPA and it is one of the more complex of this style I have had.
Had it on tap poured into a snifter. Golden hazy yellow color with with nice head and lacing. Good citrus smell. There is a rich kaleidoscope of flavors. Lime orange and plum are up fron. Followed by pears and sweet apples with some cinnamon and nutmeg as it warms. Throughout there is a nice bitter bite with each sip. Very engaging, enjoyable beer.

I love Turning Point's NEIPAs, juice bombs, triples and they have a very similar look and aroma. I would have to say their consistency is a plus because they have all been very good. They will always have a slight difference in their taste but still somewhat similar. In which case, like many other brewers, I won't hesitate to buy a new beer from them. This 'Prank' has a bit of bitterness on the back-end, otherwise the mouthfeel is fairly consistent as well. Overall I can admire their consistency and continue to support my most local brewery. Thanks to the brewers of Turning point beer. This beer is currently only on tap and they sell growlers. ENJOY!
