When Life Gives You Pink Lemons

Pours a shockingly clear orange-rosé color with two fat fingers of orange-rosé tinted head. Moderate retention and lacing.

Very tart, lemony aroma that does, in fact, have some “pink” to it.

I was expecting something exceptionally tart based on the nose, but the taste instead has a strong marshmallow sweetness to it, with the lemonade sort of an afterthought. There is some clear tartness in the finish, but it’s tempered by the strong sweetness. Again a hint of berry-like “pink” flavor is also present in the background.

Chewy feel with some decent fizz cutting through.

The look, taste and feel of this all caught me off guard. The smell is about what I expected. Not bad, but very sugary and dessert-like.
