Had Double Froyo Pulp at the Turning Point taproom, Bedford, Texas, on draft into weird elongated tulip pint.
Pours hazy but deep, bright orange with huge, foamy off-white head, with excellent retention, leaving scattered chunks of lace down the glass. Huge, sweet, juicy citrus aroma, which does not let up, with a bit of dankness joining as warms. Begins sweet and (orange) juicy, with enough carbonation to balance the sweetness without becoming an orange soda, soon giving way to vanilla sweet smoothness, for a sweet orange sherbet ice cream feel and flavor, before a crisp, bitter enough, cocktail finish.
Orange pushup (ice cream bar) in a glass: and I swear I did not until just now notice there are orange ice cream bars on the label . . . .
