From a can. Pours a clear light orange color with foamy white head. Strong hop aroma with an orange peel note. Medium body with strong carbonation and a sticky feel. Tastes of orange peel and sticky pine resin. Quite nice

Had The Reverend Green poured from pint can, no date, into nonic pint.
Pours medium-gold with clarity and 1-finger, creamy, off-white head, with great retention, leaving thick, overlapping rings of lace down the glass. Aromas of citrus rind and sweet citrus off pour, then a little hop spice, earthy funk and blueberry aromas, and also some lime aroma as warms. On tasting, sweet citrus, pine resin and blueberry up front, with the resin carrying through into sweet and tangy stone fruit, before a crispy and resinous, moderately bitter, classically dry West Coast finish.
A Texas West Coast IPA that won't disappoint the immigrants from California.

The Reverand Green has a thick, off-white head and a somewhat clear, bubbly gold appearance, with heavy glass lacing. The aroma is of white bread crust and hop resins. The flavor is of sharp, bitter hops and some bread. The Reverand Green has a medium body and a dry finish. RJT

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a small, dense head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a grapefruit citrus and orange aroma mixed with lots of tropical fruits of pineapple and papaya. At the same time there is a rather decent showing of caramel and bread as well as some pear and apple.
Taste – The taste starts out with a slightly more crisp and clean cracker and bready flavor paired with lots of grapefruit hop and some pine. As the taste advances the maltiness thickens a bit all while some more pine and a bit of herb join in the taste profile. A little bit of caramel sweetness develops in the middle of the taste, but then fades toward the end, leaving one with a moderately crisp and decently hopped up taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is high. For the west coast style and the abv. the feel is rather well done and makes for a nice sipper.
Overall – A rather nice IPA overall with a more crisp taste and feel and a good west coast style hop blend.

Excited to try this new beer from Turning Point in, of all places, Bedford, TX. Bedford is one of those pass-through communities between Fort Worth and Dallas, so I'm glad to see some local craft breweries popping up in and around the area. The beer pours a bright golden straw color with a two-finger head and decent lace. Pretty beer. The nose is heavy on the pine, with some faint citrus. Taste is poppy and delicious. Hoppy, piney, some distant grapefruit, and a hint of vanilla. Mouthfeel is smooth and even. Overall, this is a fine and tasty beer. At 8%, it may seem big, but it drinks easy. A very pleasant discovery here in San Antonio for sure. I would happily buy this again.
