Appearance - The was black with a big head of carbonation.
Smell - The nose was composed on dry Earthy malts.
Taste - The profile had light chocolate, Earthy malts, and light char. The beer seemingly ends with a dry finish. The beer did not have much staying power because of the high carbonation.
Mouthfeel - The beer had unusually intense carbonation for the style.
Overall - The can had a cool label. The beer missed the mark for the style.

Appearance: Black, mousse-like head with good retention
Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee and baker's chocolate
Flavor: Roasted malt, coffee, baker's chocolate, restrained bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, drying, moderate length finish with trailing bitterness
Overall: Good looking beer. Flavors (malt, hops and bitterness) are well harmonized but the dark malt notes come out enough to let you know it's a Schwarzbier. Bitterness is just enough for balance but not too much to discourage another pint. Very well crafted beer.
