Drank 5/31/24
Pour is a beautiful, deep ruby / brown. Creamy finger of beige foams sits atop the pour with great retention.
Nose is toffee, caramel, brown sugar, bready malt.
Taste follows. Rich toffee, brown sugar, caramel, layered overly a moderate bitterness that keeps this tasty brew from being too sweet.
Full body, moderate carbonation. Easy to drink with a lingering toffee and subtly piney bitterness.
At about a year, more dark fruit and plum, Cherry starts to come through.
