decent beer, the first and only i had when i visited frolic recently, and one of the only ones on their list that wasnt designated as gluten reduces, which looks like the niche they are trying to settle into. its a fine beer, but unremarkable and even a little amateurish compared with the best ones in the style, perhaps a less patient ferment than it needs, not as crisp as it should be and with a twang or a zizzle from the lager yeast at the end that doesnt belong, not real clean, but its light in body and flavor, not awkwardly over hoppy like so many are trending in the states these days, and easy drinking enough with high carbonation and a relative dryness at the end, warm weather session beer if you want to have a few, but not one you should expect to be wowed by, not by a long shot. everything in here felt a little minimal, which is fine, but the quality overall wasnt quite there with this one to make me thirsty for another pint. im sure this will improve over time, these guys are still really new...
