Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival a fine offwhite 1 finger head was present with lively fine carbonation. Body is a clear brown amber. Head relatively quickly recedes to a ring around the glass.
Aroma is very bready and doughy with some nice dark toasted caramel malts shining through as well. Hops are present on the aroma with some floral notes and bitter notes. The yeast is quite present but clean, very much like bread dough.
Taste is quite similar to the aroma but the caramel vienna malts come through very nicely with a light sweetness that is quickly balanced by bitter hops with some light zesty notes and that nice and clean doughy lager yeast. A lot of character for a lager but still distinctly a vienna lager.
Feel is refreshing and carbonated with a certain lightness to it despite the color of the beer. The overall mouthfeel is quite drying, likely from the hops and yeast, but the finish is quite long and bitterness does slightly grow making this a nice lighter sipper.
Overall this is a fun craft vienna lager. Good hop notes and yeast presence while maintaining the malty drinkable heart of the beer.
