I tried this at the brewery. It poured a rich amber with white head that did not leave any lace. The scent had some good caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with caramel malt presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer but it is no where near a "heavy" Scottish ale...far from it.....definitely sessionable.
