Poured from the growler shortly after tapped into a spiegelau IPA glass.
Deep Amber orange, nearly clear with excellent frothy off white and khaki like head. Climbs with big soapy chunks under a big fistfull controlled height. Excellent looking.
Soft fruits hop notes, touching a bit of candied grapefruit and citrus with a good chunk of caramel qualities.
Solid simple palate. Good mix of simple citrus and pine like hop qualities. Finishes with a good pine fresh quality but has good amounts of caramel malt flavors to sweeten things up. Good simple malt backbone that flirts with syrup, but has a small sweetness. Light bodied with easy low and IPA drinkability.
Reminds me quite a bit of dogfish 60 but with a bit more sweetness and lighter touches.
