Thanks to bstoos for this from the Rookies BIF #3. 750ml bottle poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lightly hazy straw color with 1/2 inch of white head that quickly dissipated and left no lacing.
There was some barrel notes at the front of the aroma, followed by notes of wine, with the base grain underneath. There was some spice, as well as a touch of grape.
All those aspects were apparent on the tongue, just way more defined. The blend of flavors was very interesting, and carried well throughout the glass.
The body was light, crisp, nicely carbonated, and finished dry.
Drinkability was very good, i wouldn't mind having another bottle. Or 3. Overall, a very nice brew, certainly worth trying if you see it.
