Clove, banana and pineapple fermentation character dominate this little guy. Dry with a hint of tart lemon on the finish. Utilizes three different yeast strains, French Strisselspalt hops, Pilsner malt and Wheat malt.

A: The beer is hazy light pale yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down a bit and never completely faded away, leaving a collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of fruity yeast are present in the nose, including apples and banana, along with notes of clove.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a combination of banana/clove hefeiweizen yeast and apple-like flavors.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This grisette is super easy to drink, having the light body you would expect from a table beer but the level of aromas and flavors that you would expect from a stronger beer.

Aroma is spices/yeast, citrus and a hint of white bread. The flavor is Belgian yeast, malts, citrus, slightly spicy in the middle and a smooth finish.

a fun beer here, grisette, a style a love and one we still dont see enough of out there in the craft universe. this one is more clean on the fermentation side than most of the other beers we had in here, lots of cool wild and bretty beers going on, but this one is more belgian estery than anything else, and quite dry. its quite floral to me, uniquely hopped, and very drinkable at this all day abv level. very well refined beer, although perhaps a little less rustic and interesting than the best examples of the style. pretty good sturdiness to the malt for how minimal this is, notes of pineapple candy and bubblegum rise up from the yeast, maybe a little pear and banana and ground white pepper too, a honey layer, and a good earthy vibe as well on the grain side, maybe just a slight citrusy tang at the end too. less raw on the malt side than a lot of these, less wheaty, and without the softness of texture either, this is relaxed but not fluffy to me. good carbonation, herbal hops with some unexpected bitterness at the end, and familiar belgian and french ale yeast character to close it out. overall a tasty and easy drink, maybe not quite old worldy enough for me on this style, but the quality is certainly there. i was really impressed with all the beers we had in here when we visited last weekend, get these guys on your radar!
