On tap at the brewery.
L: The beer comes in a straw color with good clarity. This one has a two finger cap with excellent retention leaving a nice spotty and webbed lacing on the glass as the beer goes down.
S: Grassy notes, hoppy spice character, pale malts, and a hint of citrus.
T: This one is nice. It has a noble hop character presenting notes of grass, light lemon, earthy spice, and bready pale malts.
F: Light plus body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth with a nice light dryness on the finish.
O: This one was a treat to drink. The peppery spice on the back end and finish starts subtly, but builds as the beer permeates the palate presenting a nice earthy spice that lends a light bitterness. I think this is my first experience with Sorachi Ace and it seemed to be a noble hop for all intents and purposes. Another great beer from East Rock; recommended!
